Children’s Dress-Up Costumes for Imaginative Play

The right outfit starts a game without prescribing every detail. A child can answer an imaginary emergency, organise a rescue or invent a completely different adventure. Follow their existing interests rather than assuming every child wants the same character. For a family dressing-up box, easy fastenings and space to move often matter more than a very elaborate costume.

An accessory-heavy set is only useful if the child wants those props and an adult is comfortable with them.
